Amex’s former CIO, Allegra Driscoll, has joined US fintech Bread Financial as its new CTO. In her new role, Driscoll will lead the advancement of the company’s enterprise technology and help expand its product offerings. Bread Financial offers private-label credit card services and payment, lending, and savings solutions for e-commerce merchants. Driscoll’s experience in financial services, including leadership positions at American Express and Goldman Sachs, will be invaluable in driving innovation and modernization at Bread Financial. Ralph Andretta, the company’s CEO, stated that Driscoll will ensure that technology is aligned with business objectives and that enterprise IT risk management and governance are top priorities.
