Prometeo, a start-up based in Uruguay, has raised $13 million in a Series A funding round led by Antler Elevate. The company offers an embedded banking software platform that provides clients with access to bank information and payments from over 280 financial institutions in Latin America. Zeal, an Egyptian fintech start-up that provides point-of-sale solutions, has raised $4 million in a funding round led by Raed Ventures and Cur8 Capital. Detected, a UK and US-based company that offers business, customer, and merchant onboarding technology, has secured $2.5 million in fresh funding from investors including Thomson Reuters Ventures and Love Ventures. Finbridge Global, a UK-based firm that helps financial institutions search for and compare potential fintech partners, has secured a £500,000 ($642,000) investment from Industrial Thought.
